She was one of those “Dry Clean Only” women,
looking good but very lonely.
You could tell she had been
through the Spin Cycle one time too many.
If any would have taken the time to read her label,
they would have known she wasn’t able
to bear the stringent effects of wash & wear,
because she needed to be handled with care.
To go against the grain of her woven fabric,
she developed a tactic of “ready to wear”
and “shout it out” wouldn’t dare try to cling free.
